Another Mulgrave Estate traditional boundary has received some due care and attention recently alongside the A171 at Lady Cross.  The wall, which may be over 200 years old, has been rebuilt and restored by a local walling contractor. 100 metres has been repaired and will contribute to the landscape character of the area as well eventually providing a stock proof barrier next to the main road.  Financial assistance came from the North York Moors National Park Authority’s Traditional Boundary Scheme (TBS), which provided an incentive grant to restore the feature.
