Our contractor, Nick, has been busy at work across the Estate repairing drystone walls. The drystone walls make up an intricate network of traditional field boundaries across the Estate and their upkeep and maintenance is of paramount importance. These roadside walls at High Burrows have been restored recently to form a barrier between the road and the new woodland plantation. The North York Moors National Park Authority’s Traditional Boundary Fund Traditional Boundary Fund | NYMNP contributed financially towards the work.
