We wish every success to Vanessa, Lewis and the family at Phipps Farm with their exciting new venture.Offering fresh milk direct from the family's dairy herd, alongside a range of delicious flavoured milkshakes available by the cup or in reusable one-litre glass bottles, continuing a proud local farming tradition.Dobson's of Lythe represents four generations of dairy farming. Beginning with just eight cows, Eric Dobson delivered milk by horse and cart to homes and hotels in Sandsend. The business grew with his sons Keith and Alan, and later continued under Alan and his son Martin. Following the challenges of the 2001 foot-and-mouth outbreak, Martin and his wife Vanessa established a new herd and continued to develop the farm. Today, the business is thriving with the involvement of their son Lewis and daughter Beth.
Look out for the flags on Lythe High Street, opposite the school. There's convenient off-street parking available. Please support this fantastic local family business and give their fresh milk and milkshakes a try!
