Stream Cottage is tucked away in the beautiful tranquil valley of Sandsend and is simply oozing with period charm while boasting modern luxuries. Sleeping up to 6 people, the cottage provides the perfect base for you to either relax in your own private hot tub or cosy up by the woodburning stove while tucking into some popcorn in your own exclusive cinema room. On the ground floor there is a large bedroom with a substantial en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The master bedroom features a stunning roll top bath. Outside the holiday cottage has a fully enclosed private garden area with a patio area and hot tub. This idyllic cottage is ideal for a luxury romantic retreat or a family getaway with something to offer for all the family. Pet friendly, with parking for two cars available.

Lounge / Kitchen / Diner: Spacious open plan luxury kitchen diner. Induction hob and electric oven. Bespoke hand crafted kitchen, integral fridge, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, dishwasher. AGA. Dining table and chairs. 

Lounge area, Smart TV, 2 Chesterfield sofas offering the ultimate in comfort. Wood burning stove. ( starter pack of logs and kindling provided) Occasional tables, floor lamps and an antique dresser.

Utility Room: Washing machine, under counter freezer, tumble dryer, wine cooler. Storage cupboards and a Belfast sink.. Boot storage and coat hanging area. Iron, ironing board & airier.

Cloak Room: Toilet with washbasin.

Cinema Room: 75 inch wall mounted smart TV with sound bar. Large corner sofa, large coordinating arm chair, wing chair, coffee table, book shelves, antique dresser. French doors leading to tiered patio area with hot tub.

Ground Floor Bedroom: Twin bedroom ( can be offered as a king size), bedside tables, lamps, wardrobe, dressing table. Glass walk way leading to:

En-Suite walk in wet room: Large walk in rain fall shower, wash basin and toilet. Heated towel rail.

Stairs leading to:

Master Bedroom: King size bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers, Free standing roll top bath. Wooden shutters to windows.

Bedroom 3: King size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Ornate cast iron feature fireplace, freestanding floor mirror. Wooden shutters to windows. 

Bathroom: Large corner shower cubicle with rain fall shower. Double washbasin, toilet, bidet and heated towel rails.

Pets: Two dogs welcome, £8 per pet per night.

Garden: Spacious enclosed patio and gravelled area to the front of the cottage with hand crafted wooden benches, Private patio area to the rear with a hot tub, additional tier with garden furniture. 

Parking: 2 designated parking places with signs.

Heating: Wood burning stove, under floor heating . A starter pack of logs and kindling is provided, additional can be purchased from local stores

Short breaks: Available from 4^th October – 3^rd April  (excluding school holidays)

TV: Please note that since the Bilsdale TV mast burned down in August 2021, parts of the Sandsend / Whitby area now do not receive a terrestial signal with any consistency and in some cases, not at all. In all Mulgrave Estate holiday cottages you will find smart TVs and we would ask that you utilise the likes of BBC Iplayer to watch both live TV and of course, to access catch up.
