Sandsend Railway Station has been brought back to life for a new generation of North Yorkshire coast visitors.
Come stay at The Station and enjoy a property full of character and the best view in Sandsend! 
For 75 years it served the pretty North Yorkshire coastal villages of Sandsend and Lythe, taking locals on their way, serving industry and bringing visitors to the coast.
Down the years thousands of visitors stepped onto Sandsend railway station’s platform for the first stage of their holiday by the sea.
Now, however, Sandsend railway station is once again a hub for visitors seeking unspoiled scenery and a chance to rediscover a golden era of rail.
The semi detached railway station building – complete with its platform and station clock – has been now reborn as a unique holiday home, offering visitors a chance to soak up the special railway atmosphere in delightful surroundings. Presented over one level and has been sensitively turned into a 3-bedroom bungalow property – ideal for up to seven visitors, and with all the facilities expected from a modern holiday home, including WiFi, large garden and beautiful new furnishings. One of its key features are the stunning views towards Whitby, and the chance to dine alfresco on the patio – formerly the station’s bustling platform – and stroll along what were once its tracks, perfect location for walkers and cyclists.

The Station is a semi detached property and presented over one level.

Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with a Gas hob and electric oven. Fridge with ice box, microwave and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Dishwasher, iron & ironing board. Radio. 

Lounge: Large spacious characterful room with high ceilings and arched windows.  A feature fireplace, 2 luxury sofas and a winged chair offer the ultimate in comfort. A large Smart TV with Freeview. Wooden coffee table and standard lamp. 

Snug: Luxury double sofa bed, wall mounted smart TV, tallboy and  ladder style shelving. 

Master Bedroom: Double bed with brass bedstead, bedside tables,chest of drawers, wardrobe. Hairdryer. Stunning panoramic views of Sandsend towards Whitby. 

Family Bathroom: Bath, large rainfall shower over bath, toilet, washbasin.
