Firewood

All loads are made up of air-dried hardwood, felled on the Estate, comprising of mostly ash, with some beech & birch.

• Full load is approx. 2.28 m3 £315.00 (delivered by Iveco Daily Tipper van)
• Half load is approx. 1.14 m3 £170.00 (delivered by Iveco Daily Tipper van, partitioned)
  
• Dumpy bags for £95.00 (Subject to availability, please note for safety and efficiency, our delivery of the dumpy bags is limited to the first point that is safely and legally accessible by our truck.)
  
   

Delivery

Logs are cut to between 9 to 10 inches or 230mm to 260 mm. Please note; standard firewood has not been over a cleaning system, so each delivery will contain some smaller logs, shards, bark and chip, which can make excellent kindling. These shards can get in amongst gravel and other surface types, so it is best to place a tarpaulin down before delivery.

For safety and efficiency, our delivery is limited to the first point that is safely and legally accessible by our truck. 

We are unable to offer a stacking or throwing off service.

Important Notice About Log Deliveries During Wet Weather To help keep our log deliveries efficient and timely, we will be carrying out deliveries on wetter days when necessary. If your delivery falls on a day with damp or rainy weather, we kindly ask that you:

• Place a plastic sheet down in the area where you'd like the logs delivered.
• We will also cover the logs with a plastic sheet to help protect them from the elements.
• Please keep and reuse the provided sheet for future deliveries to help reduce waste and maintain efficiency.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us deliver your logs as smoothly as possible, whatever the weather.

Delivery charges are based on the distance and time taken from Sandsend Sawmill.

Once the order has been placed online, the woods team will make contact within five working days to arrange a suitable date and time for your wood delivery.

Christmas Cut-Off

Orders placed by midnight on the 11th of December will be delivered before Christmas. Orders placed after this date will be delivered in the New Year.
