Public Access

The Estate takes an active part in the provision of community facilities. Working closely with Parish Councils, examples include a community shop, sports field and pavilion and land for village shows. The Estate has provided land for affordable housing for local people in two of the Estate villages.

Committed to upkeep of the many miles of public rights of way running through the Estate, Mulgrave also offers the permissive use of Mulgrave Woods for informal recreation – a facility that many thousands of people visit annually. Mulgrave woods are open to the public from dawn to dusk on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year except for the month of May when the woods are closed for the entire month. Please respect any signage that may be in place when visiting.
