Not only is this detached characterful cottage perfect for family getaways, it also enjoys a superb location, nestled in The Valley, Sandsend. This luxury streamside cottage provides a remarkable relaxing and contemporary space to get the most out of your holiday. Sleeps up to 8 people and is pet friendly.
On the ground floor you will find a a large, modern and well equipped kitchen providing an excellent facility to cook a family meal and offers a spacious dining area to sit and relax. There is also a beautifully presented lounge area offering a comfortable space to wind down from your day and enjoy a crackling open fire of an evening. A large king size en-suite bedroom. There is also a downstairs toilet.
Head upstairs to find three further bedrooms. There is one super king bedroom, one king size bedroom with en-suite and one twin bedroom, plus a large family bathroom all offering plenty of space for the whole family or a group of friends to stay. 
To the outside there is a stunning large and enclosed garden wrapping around the whole property with a decked area, hot tub and patio furniture.
There is dedicated parking stream side for 2 cars.

St Marys Cottage is a large, detached cottage.

Kitchen / Diner: Spacious open plan luxury kitchen diner. Newly fitted kitchen, vast range of wall and base units. Range cooker, gas hob, electric oven and grill, integral under counter fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer. Microwave and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Large farmhouse style wooden dining table, bench and 5 chairs. Stylish wooden wall unit and bookcase. Smart TV. standard floor lamp.

Lounge: Spacious, characterful room boasting original beamed ceilings, classic fireplace with open fire (a starter pack of kindling & logs is provided, additional can be purchased from Mulgrave Estate Sawmill or Lythe stores) Large smart TV, two large sofas with two coordinating chairs. Coffee table, occasional tables and selection of lamps.

Ground Floor Bedroom: King size bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers.

Garden: Spacious enclosed garden to the front of the property with a gravel path leading to the front door. decked area to the right-hand side at the front of the property featuring a hot tub (available from mid April). Enclosed lawned area sweeping around the property, slight incline to the sides and the rear. Garden furniture front and back.

Parking: 2 designated parking places with signs a two-minute walk from the property.

Heating: Open fire and gas central heating.  A starter pack of logs and kindling is provided, additional can be purchased from local stores

Short breaks: Short Breaks Available from 4th October – 3rd April (excluding school holidays)

TV: Please note that since the Bilsdale TV mast burned down in August 2021, parts of the Sandsend / Whitby area now do not receive a terrestial signal with any consistency and in some cases, not at all. In all Mulgrave Estate holiday cottages you will find smart TVs and we would ask that you utilise the likes of BBC iPlayer to watch both live TV and of course, to access catch up.
