This pretty stone-built cottage is oozing character and charm, nestled in its tranquil, serene, stream side setting making it a haven for wildlife watchers. Boasting 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms this luxurious pet friendly cottage retains many original features including beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove. Dine alfresco, relax in the hot tub on the decked patio area of the large private enclosed garden  or take a short stroll through the valley to the golden sands and all that the pretty coastal village of Sandsend has to offer

Description

Entrance:

Lounge / Diner: Characterful room boasting a beamed ceiling and stunning feature fireplace. Wood burning stove (a starter pack of kindling & logs is provided, additional can be purchased from Mulgrave Estate Sawmill)  Luxury sofa with coordinated chair. Nest of wooden tables. Smart TV. Dining table and chairs, wooden sideboard with drawers.

Kitchen: Gas hob, electric oven & grill, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and radio.

2 steps up from the lounge lead to;

Storage cupboard: Coat hanging and shoe store. Iron and ironing board.

Family Bathroom: Modern bathroom, bath, handheld shower over bath, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.

Shower Room: Large corner shower cubicle, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.

2 steps down lead to:

Master Bedroom: (Ground floor) King-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, dressing table, mirror and stool.

Stairs from the lounge lead to:

Bedroom 2: Twin divan beds with drawers beneath for storage, bedside table and lamp. Free standing mirror, tub chair, padded storage bench. Velux windows overlooking the garden.

Wi-Fi: Unlimited WiFi available.

Pets: Dogs welcome (maximum two) £8 per pet per night.

Garden: Planted rockery to the front of the property, large private enclosed garden to the rear with a hot tub and decked patio with garden furniture & parasol. Garden is accessed via pathway and gate.

Parking: Private parking available next to the property for 2 cars.

Heating: Gas central heating, wood burning stove (a starter pack of kindling & logs is provided - additional supplies may be purchased from local stores)

Short breaks: Available from 4^th October – 3^rd April  (excluding school holidays)

Shop & Pub: Within 1/4 a mile.

Notes: Please note due to the nature of second bedroom being in the loft area, headroom height is limited in areas. No mobile signal at this property. Mulgrave woods entrance to the side of the parking at the property ( Sat, Sun & Wed only)

TV: Please note that since the Bilsdale TV mast burned down in August 2021, parts of the Sandsend / Whitby area now do not receive a terrestial signal with any consistency and in some cases, not at all. In all Mulgrave Estate holiday cottages you will find smart TVs and we would ask that you utilise the likes of BBC Iplayer to watch both live TV and of course, to access catch up.
