Lounge: Characterful room boasting original beamed ceilings, large luxury 4 seater sofa & matching 2 seater snuggle chair. Nest of wooden tables. Smart TV. Wood burning stove ( starter pack of logs and kindling provided) Views over the garden towards the village green and stream.

Storage Cupboard: Coat and shoe storage. Iron & ironing board. Travel cot and highchair.

Heating: Gas central heating, gas wood burning effect fire & a wood burner stove (a starter pack of kindling & logs is provided - additional supplies may be purchased from local stores)

Short breaks: Available from September – May  (excluding school holidays)

Shop & Pub: Within 1/4 a mile.

Notes: Rose Cottage is next door to Holly Cottage which sleeps up 2 people, these cottages can be booked together. Mobile signal is poor.

TV: Please note that since the Bilsdale TV mast burned down in August 2021, parts of the Sandsend / Whitby area now do not receive a terrestial signal with any consistency and in some cases, not at all. In all Mulgrave Estate holiday cottages you will find smart TVs and we would ask that you utilise the likes of BBC Iplayer to watch both live TV and of course, to access catch up.
